from Whistling Psyche by Sebastian Barry, at the Almeida Theatre 2004 with Claire Bloom and Kathryn Hunter
performed by Ian Watson, Rowland Sutherland, and Rhodri Davies
Ex, a play by Rob Young with songs by Ross Lorraine, was performed in an early version at the Battersea Arts Centre in 1999. It was revived by Two's Company in a full-length version for a very successful four week run at the Soho Theatre in 2011, with Siobhan Dillon, Simon Thomas, Amy Booth-Steel and Gerard Casey, directed by Tricia Thorns.
“An admirably original production: Ex is fresh, filthy, funny and engaging, and I’d like to see more of its type.”
“A treat for Musical Theatre lovers... well worth seeing”
“The songs provided a delightful sense of the surreal... charming and well-executed... EX is cheeky, British and above all, silly – but the kind of silly that will lift your spirits after a grey London week.
